Mann Filter - H42 - Hydraulic Filter

This hydraulic filter element removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic fluid before it reaches the pump and downstream control valves. It installs in the filter head on the return side of the hydraulic loop, where trapped debris protects the piston pumps and spool valves from abrasive wear. A clogged element forces the bypass valve open, allowing unfiltered fluid to circulate and accelerate internal component damage. Mann-Filter manufactures this element to match the original housing seal geometry and bypass cracking pressure, so the system maintains its designed filtration efficiency. Replace the housing seal during installation and tighten the filter head to the specified torque.
