Mann Filter - WK8162 - Fuel Change Filter

This fuel filter removes contaminants from the diesel supply before fuel reaches the injection pump. It sits in the line between the tank and the high-pressure side of the system, protecting the injectors and pump internals from abrasive particles and water. A restricted filter reduces fuel flow, causing hesitation under load and potential cavitation damage to the injection components. The manufacturer produces this element to match the original seal geometry and flow capacity, so the filter housing closes without leaks and the bypass valve opens at the correct differential pressure. On installation, ensure the housing O-ring is clean and seated, and tighten the bowl to the specified torque.
