Mann Filter - WK8168 - Fuel Filter

This fuel filter element removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the high-pressure injection pump. It is installed in the fuel line between the tank and the pump, where it protects the precision internal components of the injectors from abrasive contamination. A restricted filter reduces fuel flow, causing hard starting and power loss under load. The manufacturer’s element matches the housing’s internal seal geometry to ensure the bypass valve closes at the correct pressure. On replacement, drain any water from the housing bowl and prime the system before starting the engine.
