Mann Filter - WK842 - Fuel Filter

This fuel filter is a spin-on element installed in the fuel supply line between the tank and the injection pump. It removes particulate and water from the diesel before the fuel reaches the high-pressure components. A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing the engine to lose power or stall under load, and allows contaminants to reach the injectors. The filter is constructed to the original manufacturer's thread and sealing-face geometry, which ensures a leak-free seal against the filter head without the need for adapters. When replacing, lubricate the gasket and tighten by hand until the gasket contacts the head, then give an additional three-quarter turn.
