Mann Filter - WK9048X - Fuel Filter

This fuel filter removes solid contaminants from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection pump. It is installed in the fuel line between the tank and the high-pressure pump, where it protects the injector nozzles and pump internals from abrasive particles. A restricted filter reduces fuel flow, which can cause power loss, hard starting, or erratic engine operation under load. The manufacturer produces this replacement element to match the original housing's seal geometry and bypass-valve cracking pressure, so the fuel system maintains its designed flow resistance. When replacing the filter, drain the water separator if present and prime the system after installation to remove trapped air.
