Maschio Gaspardo - G15420735R - Corn Coulter

This component is the seed coulter for a maize planter, specifically the part that opens the furrow in the soil and places the seed at the correct depth. It is mounted on the planter unit’s parallelogram arm, interacting with the press wheel and closing system that follow behind it. A worn or bent coulter produces an inconsistent furrow profile, leading to uneven seed depth and poor emergence. As an original part, the coulter’s profile and mounting geometry are machined to match the planter unit’s seed-metering and depth-control linkage, so no shimming or adjustment is needed at installation.
