This distributor divider sits in the seed metering system, splitting the seed flow from the hopper into individual streams for each coulter. It mounts directly on the metering head and directs the seed into the delivery tubes that lead to the openers. A worn or cracked distributor causes uneven seed distribution across the rows, leading to patchy emergence. This original component is cast to the same internal passage geometry as the factory assembly, so the seed flow rate and split ratio match the original design. No modification to the mounting bracket or tube connections is needed when replacing the original unit.
