Specially designed to make rope climbing faster and less tiring. Equipped with a locking pawl that facilitates the slipping of the rope from the very first metres. Blocking pawl is equipped with angled teeth and a cleaning slot for optimal operation in all conditions (frozen rope, mud, etc.). This blocking pawl is made of stainless steel for better corrosion resistance. Mechanism is fully integrated into the body of the ascender to avoid the risk of snagging. Quickly remove the rope by moving the leg backwards. Smallest belt is made of 100 % Dyneema, making it extra abrasion resistant. Easy to adjust in size thanks to the DoubleBack buckle. Available in a version for the left foot (black) and the right foot (yellow). Suitable for ropes with a diameter of 8 to 13mm. PLEASE NOTE: the Petzl Pantin is not PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
