The Petzl Aria 1 has been tested according to the EN/IEC 62262 standard and is rated IK07. In the IK test, an impact element is dropped from a clearly defined height with a defined weight and shape onto the location to be tested. In addition to this test, the lamp is also drop-proof for heights of up to 2 metres. The on/off button can be used to set the lighting level. The standard lighting mode has a light output of 100 lumens and a maximum operating time of about 12 hours. There is also a boost option (350 lumens for 2 hours) and an economy mode (7 lumens for 110 hours).
