The Sika Sikaflex-221 (part number 88000243) is a high-quality, non-sag, 1-component polyurethane adhesive sealant that cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer. This black, 300ml cartridge is designed for elastic, vibration-resistant seam sealing and simple bonding applications across various industrial sectors, including vehicle body construction and machinery. It offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates such as metals, primers, paint coatings, ceramic materials, and plastics. Sikaflex-221 is resistant to aging and weathering, with a service temperature range from -50 °C to +90 °C and an application temperature range from +5 °C to +40 °C. It has a skin time of approximately 60 minutes and a cure rate of about 3 mm per 24 hours.
