Breathable and extremely comfortable STIHL ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers are ideal for professional work in forestry, arboriculture, gardening and landscape care. The knee area is reinforced with durable, waterproof and elastic fabric, and the lower part of the leg is also protected against thorns and abrasions. The exceptionally breathable and lightweight cut-resistant material AVERTIC™ pro lite+ has been designed especially for STIHL for professional use. It is elastically bonded to the outer fabric of the trousers, providing greater freedom of movement.
STIHL ADVANCE FlexTEC trousers with a fitted cut, thanks to a large proportion of elastic material and individual waist adjustment with a Velcro fastening, make them suitable for both women and men. For protection against hypothermia, they include a generous kidney protector with quick-drying 3D mesh on the inside. In addition to 2 side pockets, a back pocket and a thigh pocket, they also have a tape measure pocket and a tool key pocket. All pockets are equipped with a flat zip that prevents the zip teeth from fusing together. The trousers also have ventilation openings that can be unzipped to regulate temperature.
In addition to striking neon green details and reflective elements, the trousers also provide good visibility thanks to a high proportion of reflective orange colour. Highly breathable gaiters comfortably connect with the boots, protecting the legs against ticks, sawdust and snow.
Cut-resistant clothing is classified into 4 cut protection classes according to EN ISO 11393. The cut protection level determines the maximum chain speed tested under standard conditions. Rating 1 corresponds to a chain speed of 20 m/s.
Protective clothing is made of waterproof yet breathable material. This ensures a high level of wearing comfort. Excess heat and sweat are transported to the outside.
Cut-resistant trousers pattern C:
Cut-resistant trousers with pattern C according to EN ISO 11393 have cut protection covering the front lower body and the back of the legs. Pattern C is intended for people who, for example, use a chainsaw rarely or irregularly.
Protective clothing should protect while also providing maximum freedom of movement, which is achieved through fully stretchable material. The fully elastic material stretches in all directions, providing excellent wearing comfort.
