STIHL - 1130-200-0555 - Petrol Chainsaw MS 170 1.2 kW/1.6 hp

Small petrol chainsaw for hobbyists with STIHL 2-MIX engine. Ideal for preparing firewood and construction work using wood. Also suitable for felling trees up to 30 cm in diameter. STIHL 2-MIX engine The two-stroke STIHL engine with 2-MIX technology provides high power while saving fuel consumption by up to 20% compared to two-stroke STIHL engines of similar power without 2-MIX technology. Exhaust emissions drop by approx. 50%. Anti-vibration system Strong vibrations transmitted through the handles of mechanical devices can lead to vibration disease. For this reason, STIHL developed the anti-vibration system. In mechanical devices equipped with the AV system, the handle zones significantly reduce the number of vibrations generated by the combustion engine and the working tool. Multi-function switch All important chainsaw functions, such as cold and warm start, operation and switching off, are controlled with a single lever. This solution provides exceptional operating comfort and safety because the right hand remains on the handle at all times. Filter cleaning only becomes necessary when engine power noticeably drops. The STIHL compensator located in the carburettor ensures that despite increasing air filter contamination, engine power, harmful substance content in exhaust gases and fuel consumption remain constant for a longer period. This allows longer work without the need for maintenance procedures.
