Multi-function handle All engine controls are within reach of the hand. This ensures exceptionally easy and safe operation of the device - the hand remains on the handle at all times. STIHL 2-MIX engine During the scavenging process, a layer of air free of fuel is placed between the exhaust gases being expelled and the fresh portion of the mixture in the engine crankcase. This air cushion reduces fuel losses occurring in connection with the cylinder scavenging process – thus protecting the operator's health and the natural environment. STIHL anti-vibration system The anti-vibration system is used in mechanical devices intended for green area care. Precisely calculated handle zones reduce the transfer of troublesome vibrations generated by the engine and the rotating cutting tool. A significant reduction in the number of vibrations transferred to the handles saves energy and increases working comfort. The STIHL compensator located in the carburetor ensures that despite a dirty air filter, the mixture does not become excessively enriched. Engine power remains constant for a longer period. Cleaning the filter becomes necessary only when 80% of its surface is dirty. In this way, longer work is possible without the need for maintenance activities.
