ENSURES EASY AND SAFE TENSIONING. The side chain tensioner enables safe, easy and quick tensioning and replacement of the chain. The tensioning screw is accessible from the side through the chain drive cover.
Durable air filter system for chainsaws.
The pre-filter removes coarse, larger particles from the air stream before they reach the actual filter. The HD2 filter keeps even fine dust away from the engine, ensuring long engine life, long intervals between cleaning and easy maintenance of the chainsaw. Only when equipped with a pre-filter and HD2 filter can we speak of a durable air filtration system for chainsaws. This system provides significantly longer filter life compared to traditional air filtration systems.
Tool-free oil tank closure.
Thanks to the tool-free tank closure, the oil and fuel tank can be easily opened and closed using a bayonet closure.
Manual decompression.
The decompression valve makes starting the device easier. Opening the valve during start-up allows part of the compressed mixture to be released from the cylinder. This protects the starting system and requires less force on the starter rope.
Water connection.
ENSURES DUST BINDING AND COOLING. During operation with the device, a constant supply of water is provided to flush the cutting disc. It is used to bind dust and cool the cut. Thanks to the water connection directly to the device, flushing is easy and constantly ensured.
Rollomatic G guide bar.
Rollomatic G guide bar with water flushing system. This ensures that the chain, guide bar groove and sprocket are flushed and cooled. This increases the service life of the guide bar and chain and provides protection for the user against dust. In addition, the guide bar is equipped with an additional tensioning hole and a hardened guide bar track.
Drive sprocket cover.
Optimal water routing to the cutting elements located on the drive sprocket cover. Water directed at the sprocket and selectively fed back into the gap ensures minimal water loss.
Rubber guard.
The special design of the guard protects the crankcase from damage. It also serves as a stop during plunge cutting.
STIHL 2-MIX engine.
This 2-stroke engine is designed to require infrequent maintenance and consume fuel even at high power. A mixture of gasoline and engine oil should be used as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine meets the requirements of the strict EU exhaust emission directive, level V.
STIHL anti-vibration system.
ENSURES MORE COMFORTABLE WORK. When increasing the power of the device, vibrations are generated that are particularly noticeable in the handle area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the handle area and thus to the user's body.
