STIHL - 6008-011-1170 - Electric Shredder GHE 250 S

The STIHL GHE 250 S shredder is a solution with an electric motor for regular use in shredding leaves and branches of medium thickness. It will handle branches up to 35 mm in diameter as well as leaves, in order to use them as, for example, fertilizer, while branches can be used for mulching. It features a sandwich-type cutting unit with two blades and a switch with a protective coating, protecting against damage and weather conditions. The wide wheel track ensures a stable position of the shredder during work and facilitates its movement. Cutting unit with a sandwich-type construction: It shreds material very well thanks to the use of additional paddle and tearing knives, while maintaining a low vibration level and quiet operation. An innovative, electromagnetic safety lock protects against accidental starting of the device, for example after maintenance work or blade replacement. The safety switch is coupled with the shredder opening mechanism - if the cover screws are unscrewed, the lock will be engaged, interrupting the electrical circuit, preventing the device from being switched on. On the device housing there is a switch with buttons covered with a protective film preventing harmful effects of external conditions. The large feed hopper allows for easy insertion of material to be shredded. The hopper feed opening is placed high, not allowing accidental insertion of hands inside. The hopper has been soundproofed, so the device can be used even in places requiring quietness. The sandwich-type disc has two types of knives - pre-shredding and tearing.
