Compact, efficient, convenient. Recommended for use on medium-sized lawns up to 1700 m². Thanks to access via the iMow mobile app, you can view and organize the most important performance data, regardless of where you are. You can track the location of the mowing robot, as well as view the dynamic mowing plan via smartphone or tablet. If you want to fully automate lawn mowing on a medium-sized lawn, the STIHL iMow RMI 422 PC mowing robot is the ideal solution. The robot is powered by an efficient, integrated lithium-ion battery. It features a mulching function. During mowing, the grass is shredded into small particles that act as a natural fertilizer for the soil, returning valuable nutrients to it and serving as fertilizer. This action helps maintain a healthy and dense lawn. Multi-level cutting height adjustment ensures that the grass is cut exactly to the desired height. It performs excellently even on uneven terrain with slopes up to 40%. The movable housing with sensors provides protection. The device is very easy and intuitive to configure. Based on the size of the garden, the iMow mower automatically determines an individual, dynamic mowing plan for optimal lawn mowing at convenient times. Installation requires an installation kit. STIHL iMow mowing robots meet all applicable safety standards. Nevertheless, the mowing robot is not a toy. During its operation, children and animals in particular should stay outside the working area. More information can be found in the operating instructions. The movable housing with sensors protects the STIHL iMow mowing robot from weather conditions and obstacles. If the STIHL iMow device encounters an obstacle during automatic lawn mowing, the sensors integrated into the movable housing detect contact with the object and initiate a change in mowing direction. Sensor set The STIHL iMow mowing robot is equipped with various sensors. As soon as someone tries to lift it during mowing, it stops. Additionally, the mowing robot can be secured with a PIN code. If it is set so that it can only be operated by entering a PIN code, it is safe for outdoor use. Standard equipment included The standard equipment of the STIHL iMow mowing robot includes: the device, the charging station, four mounting brackets for securing the charging station, and the iRuler measuring tool, which helps when laying the boundary loop. To install the iMow mowing robot, an installation kit (Kit S or Kit L) is additionally required. Charging station The charger is the haven of the iMow mowing robot. It is placed in the central part of the garden so that the mower can draw power at any time or find shelter in bad weather. Thanks to the intelligent charging system, it decides itself whether a quick battery charge is needed (due to planned work) or whether the battery will be charged in standard mode. The charging station can be placed both on the lawn and outside it. During mulching, the grass is shredded into small particles that act as a natural fertilizer for the soil. The durable mulching blade of the STIHL iMow mowing robot remains sharp for a long time and ensures precise cutting even with taller grass. With every blade stop, the direction of its rotation automatically changes, ensuring even wear. The blade can be replaced without tools. Clear LCD display The control console is integrated into the housing of the STIHL iMow mowing robot and features a large-format LCD display. All functions and device data can be viewed very intuitively. High contrast and display intensity ensure readability even in full sun. Return path adjustment According to factory settings, the automatic mower returns to the charging station along the boundary wire. On request, however, the corridor can be adjusted depending on the structure of the edge of the mowed area. Control console The control console with an integrated bright and clear LCD display is found in all STIHL iMow mowing robots for easy configuration and quick display of device information. Thanks to the high contrast, use is facilitated even in strong sunlight. The console is set into the housing of the mowing robot. Drive of the iMow mowing robot STIHL iMow mowing robots have a drive that allows them to overcome hilly terrain while maintaining consistently high mowing quality. The STIHL RMI 422 handles slopes up to 35%, and the other RMI 4 mowing robots handle terrain with slopes up to 40%. Access via mobile app The iMow app turns the STIHL iMow mowing robot into an independent Smart Garden system. The intuitive menu of the app, designed for use with a smartphone or tablet, allows you to manage many mowing settings not only directly on the device, but also remotely, for example while traveling. Hours can be set for each day using an interactive mowing plan, in which the iMow mowing robot works flexibly and charges the battery. Thanks to the integrated rain sensor and access to the weather forecast online, the device is active only in favorable weather conditions. If the iMow mowing robot is to continue mowing during precipitation, the sensor sensitivity can be adjusted or disabled. Using GPS location, you can also view the current location and define the zone you prefer to mow at a specific time. Adaptive Slope Speed Thanks to the Adaptive Slope Speed function, the STIHL iMow mowing robot adjusts its speed to the unevenness of the terrain. The built-in tilt sensor constantly analyzes the device's incline and synchronizes it with the drive. Dynamic mowing plan The dynamic mowing plan of the STIHL iMow mowing robot can be used to set individual time windows for each day in which the device can operate. During these active times, the robot automatically selects the time for mowing the lawn to achieve the best possible results. If, for example, it interrupts mowing due to rain, it will make up for it later, within the specified time interval. The dynamic mowing plan is available and operated from the control panel or conveniently via the iMow mobile app. Treaded wheels Treaded wheels providing very good traction make the STIHL iMow mowing robot move very effectively, especially on hilly lawns with slopes up to 40% and dense grass. The treaded wheels of the STIHL iMow mowing robot are self-cleaning.
