Furthermore, thanks to intelligent electronics, the FSA 50 can operate at continuously high full power, regardless of the battery charge level. The electric motor is exceptionally quiet and is therefore suitable for use in areas particularly sensitive to noise. This is a huge advantage, especially when working in your own garden and near houses. Special attention was paid to ergonomic work with the cordless mower: the length of the boom and the loop handle can be conveniently adjusted without tools, and the mowing head can be set in 3 positions. The STIHL FSA 50 can also be converted from a grass trimmer to an edger in a few simple steps and without tools. Another advantage is the foldable flexible spacer loop that enables gentle and precise, almost perfect trimming around trees and other objects. The infinitely variable speed control of the electric motor allows the speed to be smoothly adapted to the respective application. This results in lower energy consumption and can extend the battery's service life. The STIHL FSA 50 trimmer is standardly equipped with the STIHL AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head, which can be replaced without tools. This enables automatic adjustment of the cutting line by lightly tapping the head on the ground and convenient winding of the STIHL line from the outside without having to open the housing. As an optional extra, the tool-free STIHL PolyCut 3-2 mowing head with plastic blades is available. Thanks to the practical mounting handle, the STIHL FSA 50 can be hung on the wall and stored in a space-saving manner.
