Ergonomically designed and intuitive to operate, the STIHL HTA 30 cordless pole pruner enables ambitious private users to work efficiently and comfortably when caring for gardens, green spaces, and trees. Thanks to the tool-free adjustment of the stable telescopic pole and the automatic chain tensioning with an integrated spring mechanism, the STIHL HTA 30 provides effective assistance when pruning high branches, as well as when caring for hedges and removing dead wood. The chain tensioning can be quickly and intuitively adjusted to the optimal level, minimizing work interruptions – simply open and close the drive sprocket cover. The tensioning lever integrated with the branch hook sets the correct chain tension, facilitating quick, tool-free assembly of the cutting unit after cleaning or replacing the chain. The tensioning lever and all other controls of the HTA 30 can be conveniently operated while wearing work gloves.
The electric motor operates quietly and with low vibration, allowing you to perform maintenance work without hearing protection, even in noise-sensitive areas. The very compact and slim cutting head provides good visibility of the guide bar during cutting and high maneuverability in tight spaces within tree crowns. The HTA 30 is equipped with a STIHL 1/4" PM3 chain and a STIHL Light 01 guide bar, ensuring clean cuts and rapid work progress. This allows you to comfortably and precisely cut branches up to 17 cm in diameter.
Operating the STIHL HTA 30 is simple and is done via the control handle with softgrip elements and ergonomic unlocking. For working comfort, the pole is equipped with a rubberized cover, enabling quick and flexible gripping along its entire length, depending on the working height. Thanks to unlocking on both sides, the ergonomic handle, and the very low total weight of 3.6 kg, working with the HTA 30 is exceptionally comfortable, efficient, and tiring-free. Another advantage is the sturdy base integrated with the housing, protecting the device from dirt and moisture. Furthermore, the HTA 30 has a hanging loop to which an optional shoulder strap can be attached, and a ring for practical wall storage.
The infinitely adjustable telescopic pole of the STIHL HTA 30 can be extended to 280 cm; the total tool length ranges from 190 cm to 280 cm. At maximum pole extension, the HTA 30 is suitable for working at heights up to 4.5 m, and in its shortened form it enables easy transport. With up to 140 cuts and 28 minutes of work per battery charge with the AS 2 battery (measured on 5 x 5 cm spruce wood), the HTA 30 provides sufficient power for most maintenance tasks.
