This joystick mounting bracket secures the control lever to the operator station of the host tractor or vehicle. It provides the pivot point for the universal joint that translates the operator's hand movements into hydraulic valve commands for the loader. A worn or loose bracket introduces slop in the control linkage, making precise loader movements difficult. The original bracket is machined to match the factory joystick housing and the universal-joint bore, so no shimming or modification is needed during replacement.
