This lead and feed screw lathe features a cast iron prism bed that is inductively hardened and precision ground, with hardened and ground Z-axis guideways and adjustable guides. It includes a powerful motor with largely constant torque, easily adjustable speed via a potentiometer with a digital display, and switchable right-left rotation. Safety features include an emergency stop switch and undervoltage release. The lathe comes with a three-jaw chuck, fixed centering points, a splash guard, a chip tray, a four-way tool holder, a set of change gears, and a tailstock adjustable for taper turning.
