It sits between the gearbox output and the slide linkage; the eccentric lobe on the shaft pushes the connecting rod back and forth at a fixed stroke length. A worn eccentric produces an irregular feed pattern, leading to uneven distribution across the working width. The set includes the eccentric shaft, the bearing assembly, and the retaining hardware needed to restore the original stroke geometry. On reinstall, ensure the eccentric lobe is oriented to match the timing mark on the drive gear.
