The Knipex 1812140140KR Electronic Super Knips XL is a 140mm precision electronics diagonal cutter, specifically designed for ultra-fine cutting tasks in electronics and fine mechanics. It features ground, very sharp cutting edges without a bevel, and precisely shaped tips that enable close-to-surface cutting of wires from 0.2 mm. The tool employs a shear cut with controlled micro cutting edge misalignment, ensuring ultra-precise cuts on even the thinnest wires and contributing to a long service life. It is built with a perfectly adjusted joint for zero-backlash movement, and a smoothly operating return spring to reduce fatigue during extended use. This model includes an opening spring and a locking device, and is fitted with two-colour multi-component grips for enhanced comfort and control. The cutting edges have a hardness of approximately 54 HRC, crafted from special oil-hardened and tempered tool steel, adhering to DIN ISO 9654 standard.
