The Unbranded DS480 is a high-quality 2.5mm cast iron welding electrode, composed of a Nickel-Iron (NiFe) alloy, designed for robust and crack-resistant repairs on a wide range of cast iron materials. Conforming to AWS A5.15 ENiFe-Cl standards, these electrodes are ideal for general maintenance, filling, and joining applications, providing excellent arc stability and good slag detachability. Suitable for both AC and DC+ welding currents, they ensure strong, machinable welds on grey, malleable, and nodular cast irons, offering a tensile strength of 350-450 MPa and a hardness of 180-220 HB.
