The OMFB RBS 40-1/2 is a genuine hydraulic pipe break safety valve, also known as a hose burst valve, designed to enhance safety in hydraulic systems. This valve automatically closes to prevent uncontrolled movement of a hydraulic cylinder in the event of a hose or pipe failure, by sensing an excessive flow rate. It features 1/2 inch BSP ports, a maximum flow rate capacity of 40 liters per minute, and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 350 bar. The valve automatically resets when system pressure is restored, ensuring reliable operation.
