Unbranded - UTP65D - Electrode for Difficult-to-Weld Steel

The UTP 65 D is a high-alloy welding electrode manufactured by UTP Maintenance (Böhler Welding), specifically engineered for joining and surfacing a wide range of difficult-to-weld steels. It is highly suitable for applications involving high-manganese steels, tool steels, spring steels, and for creating robust buffer layers on high-alloy steels. This electrode is also an excellent choice for welding dissimilar steel combinations. Key characteristics include exceptional crack resistance, high tensile strength, good wear resistance, and reliable corrosion resistance. It operates efficiently with DC (+) or AC (minimum 50 V) and can be utilized in all welding positions except vertical down. The resulting weld metal exhibits a tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa and a yield strength of 600 MPa, ensuring durable and high-performance welds.
