This left-side moldboard bar is the structural component that forms the lower edge of the plow body's moldboard surface. It is bolted to the plow frame and supports the moldboard sheet, directing the furrow slice as it is turned by the share. The bar carries the primary wear load from soil abrasion and impact during operation. A worn or deformed bar causes the moldboard to lose its correct curvature, leading to poor furrow inversion and increased draft force. The two mounting holes align the bar to the plow body's bolt pattern; use the specified torque when fastening to prevent movement during work.
