It is mounted to the tine shank using two bolts, with a hole spacing that matches the original bracket. The blade’s forward-facing edge penetrates the soil and lifts it, reducing draft force on the tine behind it. A worn or dull blade increases fuel consumption and leaves root fragments that regrow. The manufacturer machines the blade to the same thickness and edge geometry as the original assembly, so no shimming or bracket modification is needed. On reinstall, use the specified bolt torque and replace any deformed lock washers.
