This right-side plough body share is the steel wear surface that forms the outer edge of the mouldboard assembly. It bolts to the rear of the plough body and interacts with the landside and the mouldboard to control furrow-wall clean-up and soil inversion. A worn share leaves an irregular furrow wall and increases draft force on the tractor. The part uses two mounting holes and a square-shoulder bolt to locate it against the body; the bolt shoulder prevents rotation during work. On reinstall, use the correct square-shoulder bolt and torque the nut to the specification for the plough body.
