This left-side mouldboard share is the forward-facing wear component on the plough body. It cuts and turns the soil, working in conjunction with the right-side share to form the furrow. The share bolts to the frog or wing of the plough body; its leading edge contacts the furrow wall first. A worn share increases draft force and produces an irregular furrow shape. This part is the original manufacturer's component, so its bolt-hole pattern and curvature match the mating frog without modification. On installation, use the specified square-shoulder bolts and tighten them to the torque required for the plough body.
