It is mechanically workable and paintable once hardened, adheres to various materials including metal, wood, glass, rubber, ceramics, concrete, and most plastics, and can bridge gaps. The compound is resistant to gasoline, oil, esters, salt water, and most acids and alkalis, and can be used for sealing pipes and tanks, fastening screws and hooks, repairing castings, and renewing defective threads.
