Genuine 3M Scotch-Weld DP8010 Blue is a two-part acrylic structural plastic adhesive, specifically formulated for strong, durable bonds to low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) without the need for special surface preparation. This solvent-free adhesive features a 10:1 mix ratio by volume and weight, a work life of approximately 8 to 10 minutes, handling strength in about 60 minutes, and achieves full cure in 24 to 48 hours at room temperature. It is commonly available in a 45 mL cartridge and can also bond dissimilar materials like metals, ceramics, and wood, making it a versatile solution for various industrial and construction applications. It offers excellent resistance to water and chemicals.
