This bushing is installed in the rear three-point linkage of the host tractor. It acts as a wear interface between the linkage pin and the lift-arm or ball-joint bore, maintaining correct clearance for smooth articulation of the hitch. As the bushing wears, the pin-to-bore clearance increases, leading to slop in the linkage and uneven load transfer to the implement. This component is manufactured by AGCO to the original bore and wall dimensions, so it seats without reaming and preserves the factory clearance spec. On replacement, ensure the bore is clean and free of burrs before pressing the bushing into place.
