This engine fuel filter removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection system. It is installed in the fuel line between the tank and the high-pressure pump, protecting the injectors and pump internals from abrasive contaminants. A restricted filter reduces fuel flow, which can cause power loss, hard starting, or erratic engine operation. The original AGCO-manufactured filter uses the same media density and bypass-valve cracking pressure as the factory component, ensuring that the fuel system receives the correct flow rate under all load conditions. Replace the filter at the interval specified in the machine's service schedule, and bleed the system after installation to remove trapped air.
