This solenoid valve controls the flow of hydraulic fluid to the implement circuits on the host tractor. It is mounted in the hydraulic system manifold and receives electrical signals from the vehicle controller to open or close the pilot circuit. A failing solenoid may cause delayed or erratic implement response, or a complete loss of function in the affected circuit. The valve is manufactured to the original assembly's electrical resistance and flow-rate specifications, so it maintains the correct response timing without recalibration of the controller.
