This water pump gasket seals the coolant passage between the water pump housing and the engine block on the host tractor or telescopic handler. It prevents coolant leakage at the pump mounting face, maintaining system pressure and flow to the radiator and heater core. A degraded gasket allows coolant to weep externally or bypass the pump, leading to overheating and potential bearing damage. This original AGCO gasket is formed to the same profile and thickness as the factory-installed seal, so it seats correctly in the pump recess without additional sealant. On reinstallation, clean both mating surfaces and tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque sequence.
