This brake system pressure sensor monitors hydraulic pressure in the brake circuit of the host tractor. It is installed in the brake system's hydraulic line and sends an electrical signal to the instrument panel or control unit when pressure reaches a set threshold. A failed sensor can result in a warning light that stays on or fails to illuminate, or in the loss of pressure-dependent safety interlocks. The sensor is calibrated to the original system's switch point, so it triggers the warning at the correct pressure without adjustment.
