This clutch pedal sensor detects the position of the clutch pedal and sends a signal to the tractor's electronic control unit. It is mounted on the pedal assembly and provides input that the ECU uses for functions such as engine speed management and starting interlock. A failing sensor can cause erratic clutch engagement, failure of the cruise control to disengage, or a no-start condition.
