This friction disc set is installed inside the gearbox of the host tractor. It transmits torque between the clutch pack plates, engaging and disengaging the drive to the transmission input shaft. The discs are machined to match the original assembly's tooth profile and thickness, ensuring correct stack height and clamping force without shimming. Worn discs cause clutch slip, delayed engagement, and heat damage to the pressure plate. Replace the set as a matched unit and soak the discs in transmission fluid before installation.
