This drive shaft transmits torque from the tractor's transmission to the clutch assembly. It is the rotating component that connects the engine output to the input side of the clutch pack, enabling engagement and disengagement of power to the driveline. As an original AGCO component, the shaft is machined to the same spline profile and length as the original assembly, so no shimming or modification is needed during installation. A worn or bent shaft causes vibration and uneven clutch engagement, leading to accelerated wear on the clutch disc and release bearing. On reinstall, ensure the shaft is fully seated in the pilot bearing and that all retaining clips are properly engaged.
