This hose connects the intercooler radiator to the intake system of the host tractor. It carries pressurized, cooled charge air from the intercooler outlet to the engine intake manifold, maintaining the density of the air charge for combustion. A rupture or leak in this hose causes a drop in boost pressure, which reduces engine power and increases exhaust temperature. The hose is constructed to the original geometry and wall thickness, preserving the clamping force at each connection point. On installation, ensure the hose ends are fully seated on the mating spigots and that the clamps are torqued to specification to prevent blow-off under boost.
