This steering wheel is the original S-type component for the steering column of the host tractor. It provides the primary operator interface for directional control, transmitting rotational input from the driver to the steering gear via the column shaft. The S-profile grip is designed for a secure handhold during operation. Wear on the grip surface or deformation of the hub can introduce play in the steering system, leading to imprecise control. As an original AGCO part, the hub spline and taper match the column shaft geometry, eliminating the need for adapters or shimming during installation.
