This AdBlue module meters the correct volume of diesel exhaust fluid into the exhaust stream upstream of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst. It is mounted on the engine and receives fluid from the tank via a supply line, then delivers it through a dosing valve into the decomposition pipe. A failure in the module can cause the system to enter a derated power state or trigger a diagnostic trouble code for incorrect dosing. As an original AGCO component, the module is calibrated to the same flow-rate curve as the engine control unit expects, so no aftermarket recalibration is needed. On replacement, ensure the fluid lines are purged of air and the electrical connector is fully seated.
