This cab filter element is the primary air-intake filter for the tractor’s enclosed operator station. It captures dust, pollen, and airborne debris before the air enters the HVAC plenum, protecting the operator from respirable particulates and keeping the evaporator core and heater matrix free of buildup. A restricted filter reduces airflow through the cabin vents and can cause the blower motor to work against higher static pressure, leading to reduced heating or cooling performance. The filter is designed to the same pleat geometry and media density as the original assembly, so it seats correctly in the housing and maintains the intended seal against bypass leakage. Replace the filter at the interval specified in the machine’s service schedule; a clogged filter cannot be cleaned and must be discarded.
