This fuel filter element is installed in the engine fuel system of the host tractor. It removes particulate and water from the diesel supply before the fuel reaches the high-pressure injection components. A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing power loss and hard starting, and may allow contaminants to bypass the element and damage the injectors. This component is manufactured by the original equipment supplier, AGCO, and is built to the same filtration rating and bypass-valve calibration as the assembly it replaces. When installing, ensure the sealing surfaces are clean and the housing is torqued to specification to prevent air ingress.
