This fuel filter removes particulate and water from the fuel stream before it reaches the high-pressure injection system. It is mounted on the engine, in the line between the fuel tank and the injection pump. A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing power loss and rough running; a bypassed filter allows contaminants to reach the injectors, accelerating wear. As an original AGCO component, the filter media and housing dimensions match the engine's flow and pressure requirements, ensuring the correct filtration surface area for the application. Replace the filter at the interval specified in the engine maintenance schedule, and bleed the fuel system after installation to remove trapped air.
