This turbocharger gasket seals the joint between the turbocharger and the exhaust manifold or the intake piping on the host tractor. It prevents exhaust gas or boost-air leakage at the connection, which is critical for maintaining proper turbocharger pressure and engine performance. A failed gasket produces a loss of boost pressure, audible exhaust leaks, and can allow hot gases to damage adjacent components. As an original AGCO part, the gasket is formed to the same thickness and material specification as the factory-installed seal, so it compresses to the correct stack height without requiring shimming or additional sealant. On reinstallation, clean both mating surfaces thoroughly and tighten the mounting hardware to the torque value specified for the turbocharger assembly.
