This bushing serves as the suspension link pivot for the gearbox assembly. It is pressed into the link eye and provides a bearing surface for the mounting bolt, allowing controlled articulation of the gearbox within the chassis. A worn bushing introduces play in the driveline, causing misalignment that accelerates wear on the adjacent universal joints and seals. The original AGCO part is machined to the same inner and outer diameter as the housing bore and link eye, so no reaming or shimming is required during installation. On replacement, ensure the link bore is clean and free of burrs before pressing the new bushing in.
