This blower motor resistor controls the fan speed for the cab ventilation and air conditioning system. It is installed in the air-handling unit inside the cab and provides the stepped resistance that governs the voltage delivered to the blower motor. When the resistor fails, the fan may operate only on the highest speed or stop working entirely. This original component is built to the same resistance values as the factory assembly, ensuring the blower motor receives the correct voltage at each switch position.
