This steering angle sensor mounts to the front axle and reports the angular position of the steered wheels to the tractor’s electronic control unit. It converts mechanical rotation into an electrical signal that the ECU uses to coordinate traction control, steering response, and implement guidance. A failed sensor typically produces erratic steering behavior or a warning light, as the ECU receives no valid position data. The sensor is machined to the same mounting geometry and electrical interface as the original assembly, so it installs without adapters or wiring modifications.
