The rubber element absorbs cyclic movement from the sieve drive, while the metal sleeve provides a wear-resistant bearing surface for the mounting bolt. A worn bushing allows excessive play in the sieve linkage, which reduces cleaning efficiency and can cause the sieve to contact adjacent components. The original AGCO bushing is molded to the same durometer and bond strength as the factory-installed part, so it maintains the correct damping characteristic for the sieve's oscillation frequency. On installation, ensure the bushing is fully seated in the frame bracket and that the mounting bolt is torqued to the specification for the host combine.
